Interesting... Do with it what you want.

this was interesting. He seemed very dependent on science, and I agree science and technology is a wonderful thing. However, he kept saying how people die because the food isnt there, or things are not given to people...this is what bothered me. Its not a perfect world, and not everyone can live until they are 100 years old. People have to die, its a part of life. We have to make 70% more food...but if food is engineered to make more people live, its a never ending battle of making more food because more people are living. I dont think this topic will ever end in agreement because its impossible to solve...

I agree to a point with Laura about the need will always exceed the food/water, but I am more concerned about the environment and that the earth seems to be the thing that has the limit. We are limited in science to what we know but there are always new things to discover and ways of discovering them. There is only one environment to pollute and use up.

I do like his talk about vaccines though - and it is something that needs to be talked about because it isn't right for my children to be exposed to redesigned strains of diseases that my children have already been vaccinated from because some other mom thinks that her child will get sick form vaccines. Then we find out that the new strain isn't curable.

It is hard not to get thinking over science and the evidence that it shows.

Yeah, I like the comment about people wanting to go backwards rather than use science to improve what we can. Why not improve the quality of life if possible... Oh well, I thought it was interesting. :-)

I think vaccs are important...but really, they need to work on what is in them. There is so much crap in the vaccs...we regulate all that stuff anywhere else, but the amount of aluminum in them is really bad. When they look at brains of people who has Alzheimers...its has an excess amount of Aluminum in their brain. Its one of the things in vaccs that is not tested all the way to show whether or not a child's body disposes of it. Also, if your kids are vaccinated, they cant get it if someone else has it and exposes it to your kids. They don't mutate, or else it wouldn't matter if you got it or not. They worry me just because its always changing, and being recalled and adding more and adding boosters. Look at Chicken pox...it was 1, now its 2 with a third booster at 12. It wasnt lasting the entire time and adults were getting it and it is much worse then.
